A belated Happy New Year from all of us at DPT Sport.  We hope that you had a great Holiday season and we wish you all the best for 2017.

Welcome to the January newsletter from DPT Sport.


DPT Sport would like to formally introduce and welcome our new therapist Karla Wente, PT, DPT, WCS to our practice!

Dr. Wente, who joined us this past fall, is a board certified, residency-trained Women's Health Clinical Specialist, and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University, one of the top physical therapy programs in the country. She is experienced in the treatment of pelvic pain, peripartum/postpartum issues, urinary incontinence, and bowel dysfunction in women, men, and children.  Dr. Wente's passion for helping those with pelvic health issues is apparent, as she has been asked for a second year in a row now to assist in the rehabilitation training mission work at the Danja Fistula Center in Niger, Africa. 

We have recently added two new patient guides in our Muscle Injury section on our website on calf strains and contusions.
