Megan Lamphere, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Megan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University School of Medicine’s Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Program, consistently ranked one of the top programs in the country.
Dr. Lamphere has completed clinical internships in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, men’s and women’s pelvic health, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. She has worked with a wide spectrum of age groups and ability levels. Megan was a Division I gymnastics athlete at her undergraduate university. With this background of competing at elite levels, she sought to master the biomechanics of human movement while earning her doctoral degree at Northwestern.
Megan is passionate about creating a personalized treatment plan for each and every patient. She uses her strong analytical skills paired with her creative talents to assess her patients’ and wellness clients’ needs to help correct inefficient or painful movement patterns. Dr. Lamphere understands the complexities of the human body and is excited to help her patients understand their diagnoses as well as their plan of care. She strives to assist her patients in achieving their greatest potential. Megan believes that every patient has the chance to be an athlete and function at their highest physical level, regardless of age, experience, or condition.
Dr. Lamphere seeks to practice with only the most current and evidence-based knowledge. She has enjoyed continuing education opportunities spanning from CrossFit and recreational athletics to various topics in pelvic health and spinal mobilization techniques. With her constant desire to learn, Megan is always seeking ways to expand and diversify her skillset in the interests of the patients whom she serves.
Megan has traveled to our state capital to lobby for legislation that was targeted at benefitting both our patients and the profession of physical therapy as a whole. Dedicated to transforming society through advocacy on both a local and national level, Dr. Lamphere is passionate about continuing to be involved in efforts that will cultivate leaders in a field that hopes to empower patients and optimize their well-being.
